WHAT IS MIHA?
MIHA is
non-profit professional organization founded in May
2003. It is amongst the pioneer of its kind in South
East Asia. With more than 100 members within its
first year, its is successfully serving the needs of
its members in promoting the field of Industrial
Hygiene, providing education and training, forums
for the exchange of ideas and information plus
representing the interests of Industrial Hygienists
and those they provide service for. MIHA is also an
affiliate member of the International Occupational
Hygiene Association (IOHA) in pursuit of
international recognition and standing.

Currently, MIHA members comprise of full, associate,
organizational and student members with a good mix
of experience and expertise. They are among the
pioneers in Industrial Hygiene in Malaysia and are a

Our Vision
MIHA is gearing towards achieving
and maintaining the highest standards of Industrial
Hygiene via overseeing and professionally certifying
Malaysia Industrial Hygienist. MIHA also wishes to
promote certification by awarding certification
points through a variety of MIHA and associated
programmers in pursuit of continually educating
Industrial Hygiene professionals.

Quarterly Technical Hygiene Forum, Courses and
Dialogue Sessions concentrating on the latest
Industrial Hygiene issues of concern for both
Industrial Hygiene professionals as well as those
they serve in the Malaysian industry.
Tea-talks and discussions with national and
international Industrial Hygienists in sharing
experiences and promoting the field.
Comprehensive Industrial Hygiene related courses
conducted by renowned Industrial Hygiene
